Arizona Outdoor Sports
PARTNERS & FRIENDS
Arizona Outdoor Sports has been fortunate enough to receive incredible support and partnership from local and international organizations. Here are some of the heroes of our program:
Amateur Trapshooting Association
Arizona Cattle Growers' Association
The Arizona Cattleman Growers' Association is seldom given credit for the huge amount of help they provide in maintaining Arizona's wildlife population. Arizona cattle ranches are 90% owned by multi-generational families maintaining a heritage livelihood. As the needs of cattle on a range are satisfied by the ranches, the needs of wildlife are also filled. Ranchers create and maintain water sources and preserve land habitats for cattle, but their livestock are not the only benefactors of a rancher's work; game animals and migratory birds also profit from these efforts.
Arizona Game & Fish
Here is a great website for families with students wanting to learn more about shotgun shooting in a state-administered program. The AZGFD runs over 20 very popular Scholastic Clay Target Program teams around the state. https://www.azgfd.com/Shooting/Scholastic/

Be prepared to spend at least one day, but know you still can't see it all. Here you will be able to learn all there is to know and view/experience/purchase any piece of outdoor gear you can imagine!

Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation
Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation has been a source of support for our activities and funding for several game camps. This very committed nonprofit group spends enormous energy in several areas.
First, AZSFWC maintains contact with elected representatives and AZGFD management. Second, AZSFWC members are informed of governmental actions being taken or considered, in order to quickly and effectively advocate on behalf of both sportsmen and wildlife prior to the execution of legal or legislative action. Lastly, AZSFWC provides the funding necessary to conduct outdoor conservation-related activities. A major source of this funding is the sale of the Arizona ""Conserving Wildlife"" license plate. See below for more.

Johnsonville has partnered with us many times over the years and at all the AZGFD EXO events with Johnsonville bratwurst. The Johnsonville "Big Taste Grill" has made the long trip from Wisconsin to meet with us and demonstrate a grill that can BBQ thousands of brats per hour. Awesome grill turning out awesome brats.
MEC Shooting Sports
MEC Shooting Sports makes it possible for us to throw very impressive clay targets for training at game camps to simulate the fight of the species
targeted that day, including fast flushing quail to very high flying migrating geese. Simulated ducks are fun to watch as they appear to be out of range until they curve as if coming into the decoys. Great target presentations help our students become fast learners! We appreciate MEC's continuous and outstanding support.

Their continuous financial support has allowed our organization to thrive despite the current social climate. We will continue to collaborate in an effort to grow the endowment and our organization. The Potterfield Family, the founders of the Midway Foundation have our eternal and heartfelt gratitude.
National Rifle Association
The National Rifle Association and the local Friends of the NRA have provided our organization with the support that allows us to connect with other groups wanting to learn the basics of safe, responsible shooting. This including Scout groups seeking merit badges and church youth programs wanting to provide a well-rounded outdoor education.
National Sporting Clays Association
National Shooting Sports Foundation
Rio Salado Sportsman's Club
The RSSC manages the shooting range where we conduct our clay target practices. They have doubled and redoubled the size of the range to accommodate growing numbers of families wanting to participate in our program. The range manager has gone above and beyond by volunteering at the range, in leadership positions within our organization, and by sharing in and spreading our organizational mission.
The RSSC Clay Target Center is a model range in safety, cleanliness, efficient use of space, and variety of targets which provides a quality experience for our students, athletes, and their families.
